There is absolutely so many beautiful things to see.. we went to many cathedrals... castles... a jewish cemetary... there's an outlook point to see the entire city.. it is breathtaking! Anyone could fall in love in Prague..such ambiance.. like no other.. at night people congregate in the cobblestone streets..hang out at little bistro's.. its such a romantic city!
Jessica and me were able to have lunch on the Moldau River in a boat... cool.
We also went to the theatre one night.. the black light theatre.. we saw the play CATS... this was also very cool...
There is a museum in Praha for Franz Kafka.. he was a cynical writer that lived in prague his entire life.. he grew up jewish and german.. this was obviously not common... he wrote many interesting books and before he died his friend promised to burn the books... his friend decided to publish his books.. which has now made Kafka one of the most famous writers in prague... such an interesting human! Look forward to reading his books!!!
One night we stood in the square and i got goose bumps all over... it was sooo awe-inspiring...:) this place is very special. I cannot imagine Florence being more beautiful... i will let you know!
Today 8/1 Jessica and me went shopping... WAAAAAAAAAA! U should see the shoes they have here... I went crazy! They have the hottest shoes!! I only bought 2 pairs..:)
At dinner we went to our new favorite Pizzeria called Corto.
8/2 Jessica and I got shaking early so we could check out more sites. We walked to the Karlov Most Bridge.. here they have performers and tons of art.. this is a great place to see it all... and you can see the city too! We went to the outlook point again to hang out and enjoy our scenery... i am not sure what this point is called... just to let you know...
This evening we started out at a bar called Double Trouble... Couldn't have been a more fitting title... i ordered a rum and coke.. and they decided to just give me coke.. i complained to the bartender and waiter.. he tasted it and said I am sorry but thats a rum and coke.. so i thought i know my drinks.. i went to another bartender which i think happen to be a manager... he tasted it.. and could not believe.. IT WAS A FREAKIN COKE! can you believe this??? So... i got my new drink.. and I think the bartender is in a little trouble.. trying to make some extra money off of me..
After this little encounter we headed to this supposedly huge discoteca... it was out of control... the minute we arrived we were attacked by guys... there behavior was PUTRID! No manners what so ever.. there were many tourists there... i would not recommend this place to anyone...the music was good... but the treatment was POOR! and you know how much i love to dance... instead i was running from guys... jejej they didn't get the hint! No chinese typewriter moves...After the club we were completely lost in the streets for hrs.. and it started pouring... so... what can u do but dance in the rain... jejeje around 4:30 we were able to return to our humbling hostel...i was happy then! :=)
Did I tell u yet.. My name is Zari in Czech.. u say it Zashe... sooo sexy!!!
P.S Everyone wears the grooviest sneakers here.. even the kids...!!!
