After picking up our "spaceship" Thursday morning, we decided to head north. Once we were further away from Auckland, the scenery was breathtaking. We stopped so many times along the way to take pictures. We were surrounded by rolling hills the entire time. Of course we saw numerous sheep and cattle.

It was dark by the time we reached Bay of Islands so we found a designated area for campervans and stayed there for the night. We picked up a few groceries and made hamburgers and watched a DVD before heading to bed.
