. Sunday, after church, we had a very nice time visiting with other Welsh friends who we haven't seen for a long time. Monday morning, we were invited to Cerys' classroom to answer questions from the class since they are studying America right now. They had lots of interesting questions prepared for us. We had a very nice, relaxing time visiting; a very nice end to our Europe "tour". Now we are ready to fly home again! Well, at least Donna is!
No, we did not misspell the title. Ynysybwl is the name of the town where Tim's sister, Carol, and her family live. We have spent the last 5 days with Carol, Alan, Dylan, Cerys, and Brenin. This is the second time we have visited Wales, but the last time was twelve years ago. A friend of Carol's, who is in London visiting with her son, graciously offered her house to us while we were here visiting. It was only a three minute walk from Carol and Alan's house. We definitely have not been experiencing the same weather as Lancaster the past few days. Here in Ynysybwl it has been in the 60's and rainy. But, we have had a great time visiting and "hanging out" with the Werts. We tried to go hiking up a mountain, but turned around halfway to the top because of wind and clouds. The people coming down from the top of the hill said that it only got worse at the top, so since we would not be able to see anything, we turned around and started down. We drove into Cardiff and went on a boat ride in the bay, walked around the bay area, and had some good ice cream
