We arrived Tallinn (coming from Riga by bus) in the night and our stay there started with a problem. I made a reservation with hostelbookers.com, but they did not forward this reservation to the hotel. That hotel was overbooked, but the friendly employees helped us to find a really good appartment in the Old Town. Tallinn is beautiful, full of nice cafes and restaurants and shops. The Old Town (perfectly renovated) is amazing. For me Tallinn is the best of the three baltic capital cities. We had a luch in OLDE HANSA, a medieval restaurant - not cheap, but really good (but I prefer Rosengrals in Riga). We also visited the castle. The only thing I did not like is the fact that Tallinn is full of drunk tourists (because alcohol is cheaper than in Scandinavia.
