After some weeks in China I decided that I also should see Beijing and not only Shanghai - a good idea.
On a friday I flew there after work and arrived late in the night because the plane was late. Early in the morning I started my tour - I had only two days in Beijing, but there were so many things I wanted to see, so I had to hurry. In the two days I visited Ming graves, a jade factory, a chinese hospital that worked with herbs and so on, forbidden city, summer palace, "palace of heaven" and of course the Great Wall which was one of the most impressive places I visited. We went to the entrance "Badaling" and had 4 hours time, enough to walk some kilometers on the wall. That was quite exhausting because the wall is bumpy, steeply and the steps are uneven high...! After some kilometers there were nearly no more tourists, so I really enjoyed my time on the great wall...!
It´s a pity that I did not have more time in Beijing, but I think I saw many things in only two days....! More thumbnails ...
