After 16 hours in bus (horrible) we arrived Moscow in the morning of 19th of May. During the three days we made a detailed Kremlin tour, saw Basilius Cathedral, Arbat Street, Ostankino Television Tower, went to a Casino, to Red Square, GUM and so on. Hm, to be honest I am not a fan of bit cities like Moscow, but some sights like Basilius Cathedral really impressed me. There is one thing which is really hard to take - nowhere in this world I have seen so many extrem rich persons (one man came with two limousines and 5 bodyguards)and at the same time so many poor persons.
Again - like already in St. Petersburg I made some bad experiences with corrupt policemen. I forgot my passport (ok, my fault) and then we should pay 3000 Rubel, which is about 85 Euro. A russian friend helped us, so we paid only 800 Rubel, but of course did not get a receipt or something else....! I really would like to know if the policemen went to the casino or where else they spent the money.
So, don't forget to take your passport with the VISA all the time with you...!!! There is one more thing I really can recommend: In Tverskaja street 14 is a really amazing supermarket. When you visit it you will now why I love it. It is ten times better than going to a restaurant in the city center, they are quite expensive and you have to pay for everything extra (if you order a salad, you have to pay extra for the dressing, for bred, butter....). My favourite dish bought in supermarket was pancakes with red caviar (salmon) and sour cream, I think I had approximately 25 in three days. For sending SMS to Germany or anywhere else you can buy a MEGAFON-SIMCARD for approximately 4,50 Euro, it can also be used on the first three days of the Transsibirean Railway Trip. The TELE 2 SIM-Card I bought in St. Petersburg did not work in Moscow, but in Irkutsk (MEGAFON did not work in Irkutsk).

I like this one, it does not seem to be real, kind of 'Zuckerbäckerstil'. Also the colors turned out to be brilliant. Katrin
*hopefully this was the correct place for the correct comment. Sorry for the previous one but I need to get used to the system.
