It was always my dream to go to Kuala Lumpur to see the Petronas Towers, at that time the highest skyscrapers in the world.....and they really were impressive. But to be honest 2 days in KL would also have been enough.

I went to the bird park, to the butterfly park (both really nice) and every day three times to the Petronas Towers. There is also a giant shopping mall. It is also really nice to go the the TV-tower, from there you have a great view on th city.

I really hoped that is is possible to go on the top of Petronas Towers - it is not. You are only allowed to go to the sky bridge. In the morning tickets for the sky bridge are given. Go early, they are limited. They are given in chronological order (with the first tickets you have to go early in the morning...), but you can also ask the man or woman if you can get a ticket for a later time. It was nice on the sky bridge, but nothing special.

After three days in KL I was so bored that I decided to go to Genting Highlands, it is really nice there. To the top of the mountain (where you can find a casino and some shops) you have to go with a cablecar, the longest in South-East-Asia (which is a really nice experience, you go "over" the jungle and hear the monkeys and parrots.

Conclusion: KL is not bad, but two or three days in the city is enough...!
