After a really exhausting flight via London we arrived Hong Kong in the morning. A modern, big city. We lived in Langham Palace Hotel which can really be recommended, everything was 100 % perfect and it was quite cheap.

We visited night market (and all other markets of the city, fish market, bird market, flower market), had a dinner in Felix restaurant (really amazing, it is in Peninsula Hotel. Visit the toilets for men, from there you have a great view on the city), made a round trip on Victoria Island and made a dolphin tour. Before going to Hong Kong I read about pink dolphins, I did not believe that they exist. After three hours on the boat (it was soooo cold) I was sure that it just a story for tourists for making money. But then - the captian already wanted to go back - we saw them, they really exist. We saw 5 or 6, some were really pink, some pink-grey. I really felt sorry for them because they live in such a dirty water. But comparing to the pink dolphins living in the chinese water they are protected and people from Hong Kong care about them. It was so nice to see them.

What to tell about Hong Kong??

It was really nice, good public transport (metro), good opportunities for shopping, good food (Felix, but also cheap restaurants like a mongolian barbecue restaurant or sushi restaurants...).
