The GOL flight was pleasant enough for the 90 minutes and since we were on the left side, we got a nice view of the falls as we arrived!  We grabbed our bags and took the bus to the station and our hotel was only 2 blocks away.  Hotel del Rey which was chosen by reviews on the internet and convenient location to trasport was a pretty nice place.  There is a pool but it is too cold to use in winter.  Ina was thrilled to see a tv in the room with some English channels.  It was pretty late so we just got settled in and went out to find food.  We ended up at a cheap churrascuria on the main drag.  $8 for all you can eat, they bring BBQ meat of all varieties to your table and you help yourself to the salad and pasta bar.  After a good feed and very little sleep, we were ready to pass out.
