Monte cristos! Wedding Belle arrived this evening to make dinner, and she outdid herself with hash browns and monte cristo sandwiches. She put a great deal of effort into getting all the ingredients and prepping the sandwiches. For the sake of Indy, who reads the blog but is basically allergic to every single one of the ingredients, I will not describe the monte cristos in the loving, almost pornographic detail I usually use to describe the Greek food. I will just say they were yummylicious.

I was just happy to have Wedding Belle there -- she was the only human being I actually saw today. This weekend has been difficult. After two and a half months here, the homesickness and loneliness finally hit me like a two-ton... heavy thing (uber zoom bonus points if you get the reference). I spent all day today sitting alone on my computer. I'm sure that didn't help.
