This is what's great about hosting friends in your apartment who cook -- banana fritters. I never heard of such a thing. Gramma made them for breakfast this morning. The picture is actually of deep-friend Thai banana fritters as opposed to the pan-fried ones Gramma made, but I couldn't get a picture of hers because they were in my mouth too fast. Here's the recipe:
Gramma's Banana Fritters
1 banana, mashed
1 slice of bread, torn into little pieces
1 egg
Step 1: Mush banana, bread, and egg together to form a batter.
Step 2: Fry drops of batter in skillet.
Step 3: Give to Tiara316 to eat for breakfast.

Comments
Oh, YUM
Well, I don't think this is part of my diet, but since the treat is part fruit, maybe I could get away with it. (When I got pregnant with Baby Heather in January 07, I weighed 260 pounds; I now weigh 175 pounds and fit in a size 12! I was a size 14 when I started college and a size 18 when I graduated college.) These fried bananas do look really yummy, and I'm glad to hear that some of your friends could make it to keep you company and be your family in Greece for a while. Thank you again so much for keeping up this travel blog, especially the pictures. I still feel like I am traveling in Greece with you, and Crete is now officially on my list of places to go before I die. Love ya and I'm still praying for ya! :-)
