Our thoughts turned to the end of the excursion and going back to Athens, and we concluded we could not bear to leave Crete. On the bus ride that took us from the hotel to the ferry, students Papia and Bellingham made up a funny song about the trip to the tune of "American Pie" that included bits like "no flash photography in the museum, please" and "we ate our weight in food."

Stories to tell
What great stories and pictures to share with your nieces when you come to Ohio. I'm sure too that Anna can make you some of those wonderful Greek dishes.
