we made the most of the hotel in hoi an, rented a dvd player and used it solidly til we checked out. the weather is a little glum. our last couple of hours in hoi an were spent with the famous Captain Danh chugging around the river & exploring little villages. The Sleeping Bus was pretty good, tho in true asian style the onboard toilet was unavailable which many of the western travellers (some doing 35-hours to Saigon) took personally. Road travel is slow, windy, and involves lots of dodging and honking of horns but the kids seemed to enjoy the ride. Now at the beach we're busy coating our hotel room floor and beds with sand. I'm on a quest to eat the place out of sea creatures. Drizzly afternoon yesterday spent at the indulgent mudbaths and hot spa. Hope everything is fine at home and in the office and with Zoe.

nha trang
Hi,
The sleeper bus looks pretty good. I will definitely consider that option when over that way again. Al took advantage of sleeping arrangements. Have you been to Shorty's yet? I know Em is keen on trying the best chips in Vietnam (don't forget the shepherd's pie). Did you enjoy the mudbaths? I love the mudbaths. Are you going to check out the waterpark?
