We got up really early, ate some sandwiches and went to the bus station. There we met Piret, her parents and grandmother who were there to say goodbye to Piret who was going back to Tallinn to take a flight for Brussels where she lives now.

We took a local bus to Kaali, famous for its 9 meteorite craters and a very special place with an eerie atmosphere. Somewhere about 4000 years ago a meteorite crashed at Kaali, creating 9 craters ranging from 5 meters diameter up to 50 meters. I tried to find all 9, but only managed to track down 8 of I have a good reason to go back.

We went back to Kuressaare, ate some fish at Piret's grandmother's place, and took the bus to Triigi. At the bus station they told us that there was no bus stop at the harbour, and that we had to walk between 2 and 4 km. But we were the only people on the bus and the driver just dropped us off in front of the harbour where we had to wait a couple of hours for the next ferry to the island of Hiiumaa. While we were waiting another bus stopped, so there seemed to be a bus stop at the harbour after all .

We played a game of Al Cabohne (I must say I didn't like it the first time I played it). If you want to find out what kind of a game it is, just check out this link in German :

We went on the ferry (it cost a whopping 1,25 € but we didn't even pay that, because they had a problem with their computer and they kind of 'forgot' to ask us to pay...yes, we feel terrible about it).We saw a beautiful sunset and some migrating birds. And we also met a German couple on the boat and they offered us a ride to Emmaste where we put up our tent on a soft place next to an ancient oak tree.
