In the late afternoon we went on an orientation course, where we had to find markers in a giant complex of underground bunkers that were first built by the Germans and then renovated by the Russians.
It was a very impressive place, seeing where all these soldiers lived under the ground. I was surprised to find one place where the walls were decorated with pages from an old Dutch Neckermann catalogue. People who collect old Russian rubbish should definitely check out the place, because in some of the less accessible bunkers there were lots of radios and mechanical tools just lying around.
We found 4 out of the 6 markers and I really enjoyed myself. When we came back, we saw that Kelli's father had had a crash landing with his flying machine. Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines! He was OK, but it was apparently difficult to get his flying contaption out of the woods...
We toasted some sandwiches (a nice change from the 2 or 3 spiders I had eaten today) and went back to bed, hoping that our tent would stay up because a storm was coming.
