Today was one Jeff and I were really looking forward to.  Aunt Gloria and Uncle Oliver (names of endearment) have been SUPER gracious and caring to us.  They have allowed us to stay here on the seminary grounds. They took us to Jeff's old school Fetzer.  I loved seeing his eyes... a look I've never seen in the man I've loved for 17 yrs!!!  I met teachers who impacted him as a child, whose names I've heard and now I can put a face with those names.  The stories that were told now have vivid color!  We met another missionary couple at a peruvian restaurant.  We also met Gloria and Oliver's daughter and children.  They are missionaries here in Lima as well.  I've been soaking in the sights, smells, colors... everything is coming to life... all the stories, all the memories... truly an amazing thing.  Like reading a book 5 times and then all of the characters coming to life.  They took us to Mia Flores to see the ocean and a church that Jeff's dad worked in for a while.  We went to a very nice shopping mall that was super modern.  I had one of the best cups of coffee I've EVER had (yeah.. Bible Seminary
Bible Seminary
. I know... that's saying A TON)  That is probably why it's midnight and I'm updating travelpod :)

One thing I've learned... take TP with you!  Even in the modern nice places there may or may not be TP.  The place we went to today had a communal TP holder so you get your TP and stand in line for the bathroom.  When in Rome......  so here i stand in line with my TP and I'm thinking... how am I going to get a pic of this. So I hold my camera by my side and snap the shot... of course I didn't get anything.

We went to a grocery store called Wong.  Incredibly nice store!  So much variety of different things. I was like a kid in a candy store "oooohhhh look at that... OH MY WORD.... look at that"   HA HA... I was SO pegged the foreigner LOL   The smells and colors are such a treat... well, a few smells I could do without but they go with the whole experience.  I love seeing Jeff see something he remembers... it's this excitement in his eyes.  I'm soaking it all in like a HUGE sponge!!!!

Aunt Gloria bought the things to make a peruvian dish pappas a la huancaina.  It was SSSOOOO good!!!!!  Just tastes better being here... the right ingredients, wonderful friends... such a blessing!!!!

We miss the boys something fierce! I'm so thankful for technology! We've been able to video chat with them a lot.  Can't wait to hug them!!!!

This is a saying hanging in Aunt Gloria's bathroom and I just LOVE it!  "Blessed is he with no expectations for he shall not be disappointed"

Buenas Noches
