We visited the museum of Anthropology. Many of Guatemala's best pieces of Mayan Art have been taken by European, Mexican and American Museums. The works were taken by Maler and other explorers in the mid 1800 and early 1900s. Art theft is still a problem here today. However,  the Museum in Guat City has several terrfic pieces of ceramic and stone sculpture. Sorry my camrera batteries failed and I missed some of the best pieces. But I did take a few photos of their ceramic work. Most of this was produced from 200 BC to 1200 AD.

Pardon the bad focus occasionally, I was using a Shi$#ty Camera, and shooting through glass.  Tomas on the move again.
