Day 1
Arrived in on the flight at 11, jumped into a cab and made our way to the Miraflores area of Lima, catching views of the Pacific on the way. We dropped the bags, and made our way into the centre of Lima is 7 kilometres, this city is fecking huge!! We walked around, visited the cathedral and a few other sights and went to eat some traditional Peruvian food, Lonely planets, said that Peruvian food was the finest in South America and recommended a restaurant, the food was poor to put it mild!! We then grabbed the bus back down the the hostel, booked our bus to Cusco and played some pool with the barmen in the hostel, and played some fuzzball for an hour. We then walked up through Miraflores, bought hats for our trek to Machu Pichu and grabbed food and chilled out for the night in the hostel.
Day 2
Went to a shopping centre and bought a jacket for the trek, Annie picked up an underarmour top as its meant to get pretty cold in the night time on the trek. Grabbed lunch, packed and checked out of the hostel, bought some food for the bus, its a 21 hour journey so its gonna be a long one!!

Made our way to the bus terminal, checked on the bags, its like an airport terminal!! The bus was awesome, the best we have been on yet. fully reclining seats, meals, movies (crap ones) and radio. It took about 2 hours to get out of Lima and into the countryside, that's how big the city is. Watched a few movies on the bus and looking forward to Cusco!
