Well i finally arrived in Lima at around 8pm their time after what seemed like the longest journey ever. 12 hour flights are not my thing. Are they anyones? Guess not helped by noone seeming to speak english on the plane but guess iŽll have to get used to that! Had o time whatsoever to appreciate the scope and greatness of this place. Instead i hit the sack. Lame i know but there will be other days! Nice lumpy mattress too. I was looking forward to that bit though. Slept like a log.
Well woke up this morning to alien sounds outside. No UFOŽs just yet. Only the sound of traffic and aforesaid Spanish speaking people. Not adjusted to the time zone yet but got up and searched out some breakfast. This place is LARGE! Sis said we should hit the beach and who am i to argue. Not sure i payed the sun enough respect though. IŽm a repeat offender of that so now feeling a little rosy. All in all a nice start to the Žbig oneŽand will be back with more later on. WhereŽs my beer?!!
