On Sunday we attended Mass at the church and I was again amazed at Children here. The mass clocked in at 1 1/2 hours and the 100 children there just sat quietly and behaved. Once they are walking they sit in the front of the church with their siblings, not with the parents. 5 or 6 ushers patrol and give stern looks to any wigglers but mostly it is the older kids making the younger ones behave.

After church we went home and had another party where we killed another goat. This one included the kids and a bigger group than last night. The women made goat soup and pilau. The men sat around and drank beer. The kids helped the women. When it was time to eat, the kids all eat from a big plate, girls and toddlers sharing one and boys sharing another. Men and women each got a pan of roast goat, soup and pilau. The soup is basically goat stock with every piece of the animal most Americans don't eat (tongue, head, intestines and other organs) I did my best but mostly ate the roast goat and pilau.

At the end of the party we watched the wedding DVD. The catholic relatives were very pleased to see the mass.

I shared a Safari beer with Julius and fell asleep in my chair. That stuff is strong!
