Entry 79 of 79 | show all | print this entry

We got three maids, three guards and two drivers.  One driver take dogs for grooming.  My boss got six maid, seven guards and three drivers.  For six people in house.  Each kid got one maid one.  And salon in the house and personal trainer coming every time.  Bad thing is, too many hawkers going up and down in the street.  They there for service the worker.  Cannot keep out lah.

Maid very cheap in Jakarta.  Even my secretary got.  This kind can get for $10 per month.  But need training lah.

My maid very good.  Even last time in the flood she come to work one.  Get down from bus and swim lah.  Water high like this.  Some more go marketing same day.  [Did she come back doing the backstroke, to protect the groceries?]  No, come back same way lah.

Jakarta so dirty, my driver wash car every day.  But need to be sack lah.  My driver horn every time.  Smell bad also.  I give him deoderant, tell him change shirt.  New shirt still smelling one, upholstery smelling some more, my maid clean every time.  I ask him, Why you horn every time one?  No need lah.  Last time he horn my boss, so embarrassing.  Some more when I visit my boyfriend, horn also.  Discreet cannot.  So sack one.

Flood very bad this time.  When open tap, brown water coming out.  Dead animals floating, rats and snake some more.  Cannot travel but have to travel.  Motorbike only lah.  I have to hug a man I don't know one.

Life in Jakarta very cheap.  One crane on construction site look dangerous.  Next time topple down and kill one worker.  No report.  Life very cheap.

Got three boyfriend.  One in Singapore.  Send 35 boxes personal efffect.  Shoes some more.  Got insurance lah.  If he find out, no problem.
