A day off in the Detroit area!

We awoke to a beautiful Sunday morning and headed to the airport to drop Chris off to fly down to Ft. Lauderdale for a shoot. He's doing a video for the cruise lines to promote their high end jewelry. It's also a great opportunity to see his friend John and his Dad while he's there for a couple days!
The boys and I love to eat breakfast out so we headed to Bob Evans after the airport. We found Oakpoint Church in Novi that had a hip kid's church so we headed over there for the 11: 15am service after we ate. The boys really liked it and I love to visit other churches as we travel around the country. We haven't found another one like Christ Fellowhip that's won our heart yet in FL!
After church, the boys were determined to find a big bookstore. They have been reading us out of house and home this summer. If Keegan doesn't stop reading so many books, we're going to have to get a bigger motorhome. He's read 15 or so this week (Hardy Boys, Star Wars, Sports, Goosebumps are his favorites now) and Collin has read 5 this week finishing up the Magic Treehouse series and starting the Spiderwick Chronicles.
I decided to take advantage of being in a bigger city and get my hair done. They're hard to come by in the national parks! The boys patiently waited while they read their latest favorite book from Borders. After the mall, we headed back to our rv park for some Sunday night fun.
It was a perfect summer night, so the boys played basketball together. That's their favorite sport of the week for now and then headed in to read some more before bedtime. We have been at a number of campgrounds lately with no cable, so reading has become their healthy pastime. Chris and I are also reading "Love and Respect" ...actually Chris has been reading to me so my voice can continue to recover. What a great husband! -Kelly
PS- Without cable I'm not sure what's going on in the world, but I know my mom will call us if anything important happens. She's our FOX junky!
