Heading east
Entry 195 of 241 | show all | print this entry |
It was a good day to pull out of the Seattle area. We had some rain this morning and I think it was going to continue.
It was a beautiful dive to Spokane, WA. The first couple of hours were lush and then we started to get into 'farmland.' As pretty as Oregon and Washington were, it was nice to have some change. It took us about 5 hours to get to Spokane.(one of the longest drives we'll make in a day) We decided to stay at the 'Wal-Mart Inn.' After we unhooked the car, we drove down to the 'River Front' area. We walked around a big park and the boys climbed on the 'worlds largest red wagon.' It was 9:30pm before we had dinner and drove back to the RV.
We're only about 30 minutes from our next stop in Idaho.
