We had a great time at the B&B in Sequim, WA. Breakfast was amazing this morning and we met some nice people from around the country. The boys were loving having cable and got caught up on their TV before we left.
Unfortunately, the weather was exactly as forecasted, cold and rainy. After breakfast, we drove to the ferry. We were told we didn't need our passports to make the trip. When we got to the ferry we found out that even though we didn't need passports, we did need some type of ID for the boys. After much pleading and a card with a picture of all of us, we got in. It was about an hour ride on the ferry and we passed the time by playing bingo with the boys. We got checked in at the hotel before we went out and 'aboot.'(Canadian accent)
We had lunch and checked out the famous 'Empress Hotel.' It was amazing, inside and out. There were incredible shops and art in the hotel. We were also told to visit "Miniature World." There were a bunch of tiny replicas of famous historical battles, well-known fairy tales and a phenomenal 'Ringling Brothers Circus' model.
One of our big stops while we're here is the BC Museum. They are featuring the 'Titanic' now and also have the IMAX movie. We went there, but it was too much to do and too little time. So, we hit a few shops on the way back to the hotel. When we got back, the boys rented "The Last Mimzy." We ordered a pizza and called it a night. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow. We are planning on renting scooters.
