Science Fiction Museum/Music Hall of Fame
Entry 185 of 241 | show all | print this entry |
We got an early start this morning. I didn't realize, but Kelly told the boys last night that if they got up early, they could play the new Game Cube game they got.(Star Wars) We were shocked when we heard Collin waking Keegan up at 6am this morning. They got up, got dressed and came in our room to play.(they have it set up in there) Keegan is normally the Early riser, but 6am is even a little crazy for him. After they played for while, Kelly took them on a field trip. They went to the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame and the Experience Music Project in downtown Seattle. Paul Allen(Microsoft) was the master mind behind the "worlds only hands on music museum." The boys loved both stops. Keegan has been reading all of the 'Star Wars' books, so he loved the Science Fiction Museum. And both of them have been studying music, so they enjoyed the simulation that allowed them to pretend they were singing in a band together.
I stayed back at the RV to work on my new demo reel.(this is how I book most of my TV work) I have an opportunity to add several new shows I've done to my current reel. I've been collecting them over the past year and there's a company, on barter, here in Seattle.
After Kelly and the boys got back to the park, I ran to get a haircut and workout. We then ventured out to pick up a few new books for the boys and a USB cord to update our GPS(we call her Lola). We also noticed an Outback when we got into town yesterday. We don't get our 'Chocolate Thunder' very often, so we had to make a stop.
