Heading to Seattle early

Our plan was to drive to Mount Rainier today for the next 2 days. Unfortunately, it was raining when we woke up and the forecast was for more rain and highs in the 40's at Mt. Rainier. So, Kelly and I talked about it and decided to head to Seattle 2 days early. We will be in the Seattle area for about 10 days and Kelly has a lot planned, but we'll make Mt. Rainier a day trip.
We didn't have reservations, but we were blessed to have found a great park right on Lake Samammish, in Bellevue. We are only about 20 minutes from downtown Seattle and we're overlooking a beautiful lake. There's also plenty in the area, including a Bally Gym.(so everybody is happy)
We got set up and then drove downtown to walk around. We've heard so many great things about Seattle. Downtown is very clean and there are countless shops and restaurants. We walked through Pikes Market, where they throw the fish. Everybody was closing up, but we got a feel for the area and will go back on Wednesday. We walked along the water and had dinner at a very good seafood restaurant. After dinner, and a stop at Rocky Mountain Chocolate, we stumbled across the FIRST Starbucks.(now we can go home)
