We awoke to another overcast sky and a chilly temperature along the coast in Seaside, OR. The boys helped us pack up at the Circle Creek RV Park and get on the road to Cannon Beach this morning.

At 11:30am we met up with Pastor Tom Schroder who was the speaker at the Christian family conference, for lunch. We had a great time chatting and getting to know him better before we left the quaint town of Cannon Beach, OR. After lunch, the boys, Chris, and I walked around the town shops and then the boys played at the park. Keegan had a fun time skateboarding on his wave and Collin shot a few baskets with dad, while Riley (our dog) got her exercise chasing the tennis ball.

We left Cannon Beach around 3:00pm and headed east for a beautiful scenic drive through the countryside to the Portland area. The sun started to shine as we arrived at our next RV park at 5:00pm in Wilsonville and it was even warmer. This is one of the nicest parks we've visited and it's close to restaurants and stores we recognize. It's amazing how excited we get when we spot a Target, Starbucks, or Outback Steakhouse...after being in so many small towns over the last couple weeks. Sometimes cable has even been a luxury!

Tonight was game 4 of the Jazz vs. Spurs basketball playoffs and we stayed in to watch the game. It was another exciting game but the Jazz couldn't pull off another win, so now the series is 3-1 and it's not looking too good for our Utah team. After the game, Chris took the boys to swim at the heated indoor pool for a few minutes. I stayed home to plan our itinerary for the next 4-5 days in the Portland area. It's supposed to be a beautiful week as the annual Rose Festival starts here. -Kelly
