After we got packed up this morning, I drove about 15 miles south on 101 to the town of 'Seaside,' where we'll be staying for Memorial weekend. It's a neat little town on the coast with a little more activity than we had at Fort Stevens.

I left Kelly and the  boys at Fort Stevens for the day. They did a 5 mile bike ride through Ft. Stevens to the historic area to visit the museum and they visited the 'Clark Battery.' The also stopped at the ranger station so the boys could turn in the 'Ranger Activity books' they've been working on the last couple of days. They each achieved 'President' status and got patches to prove it. They had to visit several historic spots and answer several questions to reach this.

I got the RV set up and washed while they were gone. They got home around 5pm and I cooked out on the grill. They met some new friends, CJ and Andrew from Seattle area, as soon as they arrived and played with them 'til dark. We built a fire and the kids made smores and rode bikes. We also put the tent up which was a big hit. Not sure what the weather is supposed to be like tomorrow, but they have a few friends to play with.

Tonight, after dark, Keegan and Collin finally launched a business they've been waiting to start. Kelly and I had bought some 'glow-sticks' 2 years for the boys to sell. We found them on barter and we've been carrying them with us ever since. Tonight the boys walked around the RV park and sold some to the kids for $1 for bracelets and $2 for necklaces. Hopefully, this weekend there will be more activities so they can sell them all. -Chris
