We got on the road early this morning and got to our RV park around 8am. The boys did their school work with Kelly, while I made phone calls to production companies for my next e-mail-out.

We left about 2pm to go to the "Trees of Mystery" Park. The redwoods were unbelievable. The most impressive tree was called the "Family Tree." It had 12 trees growing out of it. One of the trees was over 100ft tall and was literally growing out of one of it's branches. There was also the "Cathedral of Trees," a group of massive redwoods where couples get married sometimes. We also took a gondola up and had some phenomenal views.

While we were in the gift shop at the park, I noticed a couple. The woman was in a wheelchair and looked pretty sick. I started talking with them and found out Don and Mary were from AZ, and were obviously taking a trip they always dreamed of because her prognosis was not good. We had the opportunity to pray for her and she was in tears. I couldn't help but think of how blessed we are to be making this trip in good health and at a relatively young age.

We walked across the street and had dinner before we headed back to the RV park. This park is right on the Klamath River and walking distance to the Pacific. We met the owner Ray while we were outside throwing the baseball. Unlike the last couple of parks, there is lots of grass and room for Riley to run. The owner even had a couple of dogs she ran with. I had a glass of wine with Ray and Kelly and I talked with him for a while. Ray was nice enough to share some salmon they had just caught today. It was delicious. I'm hoping to get my share of salmon as we are coming into salmon season up here. -Chris

James 5: 13-15 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
