Back on the road!

We are finally back on the road! Between spending some time in Park City, UT, and enjoying southern California, we put our travels on hold for about 6 months. But , today we started out on what we are hoping will be a 9 month journey up the west coast, into Canada, and then back east and eventually down to Florida for Christamas. We've had a great time and made some terrific friends in southern CA over the last several months. Kelly's mom came out and spent the last couple of weeks with us and we had a wonderful time. In short, we have had an incredible time on the road this past year!
Today was a rainy day.(good for driving) We arrived at the state park about 17 miles nth of santa Barbara. It isn't anything fancy, but we are right on the ocean. We took a 5 mile bike ride along the beach when we got in. Afterwards, we drove up to Santa Barbara and had dinner at the 'Wharf.' Although the weather is not ideal right now, it is clearing up and should be beautiful tomorrw. We're going exploring tomorrow and are planning on renting these electric cars to drive around. The boys are excited about being back on the road as are Kelly and I!
