We met up with our friend Ben this morning again for breakfst in Las Vegas before heading northeast for Zion National Park. It was about a 3 hour drive to Springdale where we checked into a terrific lodge themed hotel...Majestic View Lodge. Just 5 minutes away was the IMAX movie "Treasures of the Gods" about Zion and the Native American Indians. We loved it and were even more excited to see Zion!

Wow!!!as we drove into Zion!!! We jumped on a shuttle at the Visitor's Center and rode through most of the park and then hopped off at the "Weepin Rock" trail to hike with the boys. We were in awe of the amazing red rock formations everywhere you looked!

We headed back to Springdale only 5 minutes away and saw a domestic elk farm. We stopped and Keegan and Collin fed the elk, buffalos, pony, donkeys...$2 bags of grain. What a great concept...invite tourists to stop by your farm, pay for the food and then feed your animals. We loved the animals up close. They ate right of your hand. The Buffalos would stick out their long tongues and wait for you to pour the pellets on.

Across the street was a pottery gallery where we picked up a couple pieces for our new place in Park City (we hope). After eating a terrific dinner at Flanigan's we headed back to our hotel room decorated with log furniture from Utah.
