We learned about the life of our 37th president today. We visited the house he grew up in and toured his presidential library. I have to admit, Kelly and I were both amazed at how much we didn't know about him. Of course, any time you hear his name you think of 'Watergate.' But hearing about his numerous unsuccessful campaigns for office and his return after 8 years out of office to run for president, was very interesting. We also were amazed at how much he had accomplished as president and how active he was politically after he left office. It's a shame that one incident could over shadow a pretty productive administration.

After we left the library we had to go to LA so I could drop my head shots and resume off at 'LA Castings.' Their web site is used by most agents to send talents' information to their clients. I have had an agent out hear for about a year, but until now was not on this web site.

The traffic was so ridiculous on the 5 going both Nth and Sth, that we decided to stay in LA until it died down. We went back down to the farmers market to eat and walk around the 'Grove.' I took the boys to see the new Garfield movie. Our drive home was much less hectic. Kelly took them to the pool to swim for a bit when we got back.
