Another day in paradise. The weather report called for blue skies and(unlike Florida) they didn't lie. We went to church this morning at an up and coming church called 'The Rock.' The pastor is a formal NFL player and although he was out of town, the guest speaker, Chris Johnson was also a former NFL player. His message reminded us that we need to always make sure we are 100% committed to God. If we are faithful to keep him first he can use us. The boys also seemed to enjoy the kids ministry.
After church we found a local breakfast spot called 'The Original Pancake House.' Kelly and the boys were in heaven as they love their pancakes. Collin especially loved his chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream.
After seeing all of these weekend RVers with their golf carts, fancy lights and outdoor furniture, let's just say we have been feeling a bit inadequate. So, we had to make a stop at Target to get a few things.(chairs, table, outdoor lights) We feel much better.
We came back and changed before we loaded up our bike and headed over Coronado island. We spent the rest of the day riding our bikes, checking out Hotel Coronado, looking at the phenomenal homes... We even stopped at a park so the boys could crash a volleyball game. Since Kelly was on her phone, I took the opportunity to find shady tree and grab a short siesta.(this RV thing can be tiring) We had(I know it's getting old) a great time. We feel incredibly blessed to be able to spend this family time together. Kelly and I are constantly in awe of the experiences we have had and the places we have been able to go.
After we rode for a while we stopped at this little seafood restaurant on the main street. As you would imagine, everything was excellent.
When we got home we let the boys go out and play with their friends and Kelly and I sat around a fire with some of our neighbors. We have really nice couples with kids on both sides of us.
