This was one of those(many) days which will be with us for years to come. I know, I know, I've already said how great the weather has been out here. But, It was another beautiful day. Kelly took Collin to the dentist this morning to get his cavity filled. He was a trooper.(talked through the whole thing)

After they got back and I went to work out, we headed out to run some errands and go to the game.(the highlight of the day)

The game between the San Diego Padres and Atlanta Braves started at 7pm. My brother, Scott, called a friend of his who got us tickets. Scott mentioned his friend was with the Padres organization. But, it wasn't until we showed up at 'will call' and were told to go to the VIP gate, that I knew what his friend did. He is Bruce Bochy, the manager of the Padres. And, we didn't have just any tickets. We had his personal seats, about 12 rows behind the dugout.

We were blessed by another incredibly nice person here in San Diego. When we sat down in our seats we were quickly greeted by an usher by the name of Marilyn Land, and she helped make the evening a night to remember. Kelly and I were very impressed when Marilyn told us the crowd had gotten pretty rowdy last game and to let her know if we heard any foul language.(that was a first) On top of that, Marilyn came by in the 7th inning with a bag for each of the boys. She said, "these are compliments of the Padres." Keegan and Collin couldn't have been more excited when they found the t-shirts, pennants, batting helmets and more. We were floored. We had an opportunity to talk to Marilyn a little and she gave us some great tips about the area. She was a great blessing.
