Chris flies to FL and we stay in NM!

Good Friday to everyone! It was an early morning as we left at 5:00am to take Chris to the ABQ airport. The boys were great about getting up and getting dressed. We prayed together on the way to the airport...remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us this day and thanking him. I was going to move the RV on to the Phoenix area while Chris was in Florida, but we've been meeting new friends and enjoying time together.
We stopped for breakfast on the way home from the airport. It was still too early to ride bikes when we got back to the RV Park, but the boys couldn't wait. Today, the boys got the day off school and had a ball playing with all their new friends at the playground.
We decided to host an Easter event for all the kids at the RV Park at 4:00pm. They helped me plan the Easter egg hunt, baked a "cross cake" (see pic), and filled the plastic eggs with candy. They were terrific promoters as they rode their new bikes inviting every kid and stopping by every camper with bikes.
The party began with me reading "The Tale of Three Trees" to all their new friends while some of the other parents hid the eggs(see pic). We ended up with 16 kids coming for the hunt, cake, and sports time on the playground afterwards. We all had a smashing time! (As my new mom friend from Alaska says in her authentic Irish accent.)
If that all wasn't enough fun, we invited two families over for pizza and to watch Chronicles of Narnia.
