This morning we had the continental breakfast at the club house. The boys ran into their 'football buddies' and Kelly and I got to see Gary and Pat before they headed out.
The boys did a little art work after breakfast while Kelly and I looked into what was available in Albuquerque on Itex.(our barter company) We found a place for me to get a haircut, a place to get the car detailed and a couple of restaurants. I can't tell you how helpful barter is, especially when you're on the road. It saves us lots of $$$.
We headed down to 'Old Town' to walk around for a while. Keegan practiced his photography skills on Kelly and I.(see pic) After we visited some shops, I took Kelly and the boys to the Natural History Museum.(see pics) They watched a movie about the many people who died while climbing Mount Everest.(of course Collin said he wants to climb it) While they were at the Museum I got my hair cut for my shoot this weekend. I will do Home Shopping Network until Tuesday and I am waiting to hear back from someone in Miami who may want me to host an infomercial on Wednesday. If so, I will stay in Florida a couple of days longer.
After I got my haircut(on barter) I picked Kelly and the boys up. There were 2 restaurants in Albuquerque on barter. The first one we went to didn't look very promising. We decided to go to the other one and we wished we hadn't. The food was fine but it took us forever to get there and the traffic was terrible.
When we got back to the RV the boys were hoping to play ball with their friends. Unfortunately, they weren't back yet. So I offered to play catch with them. This quickly turned into me chasing them around with the football for about an hour. They had fun and I got my cardio in. Weather was great!
