At home in Amsterdam

Hi all,
Steve and I are back home in Amsterdam. It's very relaxing to know you don't have a ton of things you really want to see. The weather here is of course cool and cloudy with rain off and on. It makes up happy that we take the advice of our favorite travel writer and "if you can pack one coat, make it a rain coat". Dam square doesn't even look like itself this weekend. There is a huge carnival going on with all the crazy unsafe rides not allowed in the US. Christine, can't help thinking about you. Enjoying the Westveleteren.
We cross the pond for home tomorrow. Not looking forward to many hours in the air, but our feet need a break. Can't wait to see everyone, especially that tiny dog. Hope she's not to spoiled.
Unfortunately we again don't have USB hook up. Amsterdam is not the internet cafe mecca that I remember. I will add some pictures after we get home for those who are interested to view at their leisure.

OK I finally figured out how to get to the pics. How cool. I can't help bult be amazed that there are so many cool places to visit. Happy for you guys to be in a position to do that.
I will be glad to have you personally go through these pics and tell be about them. They are wonderful. Yes mannie I found you peeking over the hedge!!

I felt bad about not getting any communications about your trip. Shelley forwarded me this site.
I have spent some time now trying to catch up with your travels. How wonderful for the 2 of you. Sounds like you are haveing a great time. I am not sure how to download the pictures (if any were available), but after this note, I will try and see if I can figure out what else is available ... show all
