It was back on the train today for another visit to NYC.  Given that today was a work day the train was running about every 10 minutes and the fee was $12, one way.  Still a deal.  We exited at Grand Central, and acting like we knew what we were doing, headed for the subway!

We managed to catch the right train and got off close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  What a fascinating place it is!  I think you could spend days or even a lifetime here and not see everything.  We gave it our best effort and really only scratched the surface.  After a quick bit of lunch at the roof top cafe it was off for a walk in Central Park.  What can I say, the weather was perfect and the park was all we expected it to be.

Our last stop of the day required us to hop on the subway once again.  We figured it out, there are dozens of different lines by the way.  We exited just outside of NYU and spent several hours wandering around Greenwich Village.  This area is a bit less touristy so for a the afternoon at least we were 'visitors' and not tourists!
