After a restful evening we were once again on the road.  The skies were still grey and dreary but at least it was dry!  We traveled a relatively uneventful 200 miles from Grande Cache to Dawson Creek and actually managed to gain an hour - this part of Canada falls under Pacific Time! 

I say relatively uneventful because both the Stewart & Anderson coaches suffered windshield damage.  We spent most of our time traveling on 2-lane highways through timber & oil country.  Haven't even made it to the Alaska Highway and we have already suffered windshield damage. Just goes to show that " Alaska" roads get a bad rep! 

We are all settled in at the Mile 0 RV Park, which is actually at mile 1.5 of the Alaska Highway.  Ken & I stayed here on our way out of 'Alaska' in August of  2005 and remember it being very dry & dusty.  That is not the case now.  I guess it just goes to show what a difference a couple of months can make!
