Back in 1974, Stanley Marsh III, a local artist 'planted' 10 Cadillacs nose down in his wheat field. These Cadillacs date from 1949 to 1963, an era Mr Marsh calls the 'golden age of the American Auto'. "Cadillac Ranch" is located right off Interstate 40 and just a short distance from our campground. The Ranch is open 24/7 and visitors are encouraged to add their grafitti to the 'art'. Surprisingly, the Ranch gets up to 1500 car loads of visitors a day - included in this number was Ken & I today! Enjoy the pictures....
