So when I look back upon things from Wherever I may be years down the road I remember How it felt to wake up at 5:30am everyday to work a unsatisfying labor intense job & truly realize how fortunate I Have become. With 5 months 14 days , 23 weeks, 166 Days, 3984 hours or 239,040 minutes, If I was counting,...it will be Bon Voyage
For the moment All I know for certain is that My Primary/Initial Destination is Central America begining in Liberia, Costa Rica and then follow the the gringo trail into Panama and towards South America. Henceforth, pursue the Inca trail into Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina and Brazil
In a perfect world that would be all there is to it, However, there is alot of advance logistical planning and the usual fly by the seat of your pants options once I arrive and begin the my journies.
Fortunately, I have banked enough " frequent flyer miles" to begin the journey for absolutely $ 0 dollars. After arriving, the challenge begins. Doing anything in that part of the world while catching buses, trains and perhaps hitching, requires enormous patience and fortitude, since they are not on schedules as we are used to in North America and Europe. Also, I am a traveller and chose to go off the beaten paths, unlike the proverbial tourist crowds.
However, for whatever reason the people who don't travel and know nothing of traveling beyond Resorts Are the ones we in the free world Choose to represent us (if you believe we really had a choice in this decision making process.)
Regardless of all that, its looking like my Trip is Set for a June 13, 2008 thru December 20, 2008 Then depending on circumstances , Shortly there after to visit family and friends in Florida, and Georgia Beyond that, anything is possible.. East Asia would be on the 2009 agenda. ( Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia,Thailand )
In the immediate future, I am going to Argentina ,Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Panama and Costa Rica.
Life is a journey, not a destination. Weave your dreams then follow them
