Monday 14th July
Hi all A really huge thank you for all the great messages for my Birthday. It has been brilliant having all your messages and cards here. I have been having a really lovely day today. Alex got me breakfast in bed first thing followed by opening up the many cards I have received. By the way we are in Koh Phangan Island, Thailand. Afterwards Al gave me a lovely bracelet made with Paua Shell and silver with matching earrings before heading off to my first treatment in the spa! Gosh it's a hard life here. Apologies for the rather scantily clad Blog lately, we have had a few busy weeks lately combined with expensive unreliable internet access, nothing new there. We were on Koh Tao Island before this doing our Padi Open Water course, we both loved it so much we went on to do our Advanced Open Water course which included deeper diving and night diving.
So anyway right now we are in the Koh Phangan BBuri spa and resort, where Alex has arranged a three night stay for us and somehow managed to wangle one of the two beach front bungalows complete with four poster bed! Having just got back from my facial to a bouquet of fresh flowers we then headed off in a rather swanky four wheel drive for a self drive tour of the island. We are now sitting in the 'Masons Arms' pub, English pub based on one in Southampton - Freaky! After a beer or two I have another treatment and then dinner. More thumbnails ...
