Hoi An
This town is full of low price tailors, so we hope to get some suits mades here. Will let you know how it goes. 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th 29th - 4 nights and 5 days The city is really lovely, old and historic. At the moment though they are digging up the roads to resurface so its difficult to see in the pics. Another great place to visit. On the day we arrived we met up with Diana and Mario again for drinks and lunch before they headed south that evening. The city has so many clothes and shoes shops is difficult to know who to go too. All of them shouting for your attention. After a few recomendations we went to 3 different places - proper tailor boutque (C & C) www.uyentrinh.com for our suits and my black evening dress and 2 other very similar shops for the shirts and trousers. We sepnt a bit more on the suits but it was well worth it the experience and people where great.
Alex wasnt very well for a day - poorly tummy! So Clare had to go it alone to do some shopping. We met up with the New Zeland bikers again and had a few more local beers one evening by the river. We hired a moped for a day and visited the beach - 40 degreeS, feet burning on sand! Its so much hotter here in the South compared to the North. On the last day the shop owner wanted to take some pics of us in our suits so we had a mini photoshoot at her factory. She did a makeover on Clare and everything. A nice chilled out few days More thumbnails ...
