Wow Vicky gets married today back home. Big hugs and good luck. Girls I want to see lots of pics pls. (Clare here)
Small bus journey of 10hrs ahead, on a little bus luggage on the roof with a couple of armchairs and some baby pigs in the boot! Blimey the bumpest bus trip ever, shaken and bored but the views from the top of the mountains are again awesome and we pass through many small villages on our route. Met a guy called Tom from the UK on the bus who was cool so we decided to find accommodation when we arrived in Luang Probang. We get in about 7pm and after setting our stuff down we find a good little noodle street stall near the night market for some well needed food.
Crisp update: 1 packet. 4th May Us and Tom join another guy we met iun town and a tuc tuc to go to one of the Tat Kuang Si waterfalls. In the end there are 8 of us making it cheaper. We also meet a girl form the UK Ruper and a girl from NY Denise who have been working as teachers in Thailand and are traveling around before going back home. Unfortunatly the night before Ruper got mugged and lost her bag with passport and money etc in. We had a lovely day sliping and sliding in our flip flops as it rained too! walking up to the very top of the falls and swimming in one of the lower pools.
Alex is getting much better with the photos with help from the book Gemma bought us for Christmas, he took some amazing shots. Wet tired and hungry we head home for some dinner and beers. We also put our passport in for Vietnam visas which will take 3 days! More thumbnails ...
