Overnight in Bangkok then onto Chiang Rai

We rose early and caught the 8am bus back to Bangkok, catching a taxi to Pathumwan Princess Hotel where I had a free night booked thats to Thai FF points. Reorganised our luggage and repacked the bare essentials to take with us for the final 2 weeks in Laos. We fly out midday tomorrow for a 45 minute flight to Chiang Rai which is close to the Golden Triangle (borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos) and 2 hours from where we will cross the border int Laos.
