10am and we said bye to Cynthia and the group and  headed back to the airport for the quick flight to LaPaz.  We'd left all our luggage at the hotel and were travelling just with an overnighter so all was easy.

It was good to get a second look at LaPaz - always so much more relaxing when you  are orientated.  So we hit the shops and markets with a lot of window shopping as its so good just to wander and sit and watch everyone going about their business.

Rob and I found ourselves a good viewing balcony and settled in for a couple of hours of quality people watching..heee..

The famous Witches market was just up from our hotel and is also a great pedestian street with lots of great shops and locals coming and going. I took these photos of a stall in the witches market which is pretty typical.

The lamas fetuses in the photo are supposedly buried under the front door step of your home to bring good luck (or keep bad luck away???)

I brought some amulents from the sleeping lady which should bring me wisdom, health, money, safe travel,... and a couple of other things..??... I basically brought the whole set..heee.. as you cant be too protected or have a little extra help -can you??

Next morning will be a 5am start for the bus stop and were on the home run.  The bus we have booked is a tourist bus so should be comfortable for our tip over the top of the Andes....
