Where I stayed
U Passa Tempu
We visited the town and (another) citadelle and we got spoiled for diner by our host at U Passa Tempu (the Past Time). Free aperitive, testing of home made Broccu, soft goat cheese, plate of local smallgoods and leek beignets (leek scallops?), for main meal veal and broccu in a beautiful sauce, and veal tripesall cooked by the owner's wife. Desert was a chestnut flan like a creme brulée with chestnuts. we then tested (on the house) home made myrthe liqueur which seems to be blackcurrant. The host Alain, kept us company as well as a French couple whose daughter is in Melbourne.
21st June, breakfast at 8am in the Inn, graprefruit, croissants, baguette, jam and coffee and off we went.
We decided to take a short trip in the Gorges of Restonica, leading to 2 lakes but not enough times for the 1 and 1/2 hour walk. Beautiful scenery, stopped quickly by the river.
