And so, as with all beginings there must be an end and it appears we have come to ours. Our honeymoon world tour has come to a close and as we look back over all our pictures and indulge in our memories we keep coming back to all the great friends we've met along the way. The one constant on our trip was the friendly people we met along the way. Tourist and locals alike, we met and made friends we hope will last a lifetime. Many of you we may never see again. Others we expect to turn up on our doorstep at any hour of the day or night. Just remember you are all welcomed (and expected) to come and visit us any time.

It's taken me awhile to write this last entry. It seems that as long as I leave this last chapter unwritten the trip realy hasn't ended. The reality is, this one had to end so we can start new ones and all you folks out there would be very pissed at us if we left you hanging after such a long time. So, as we find ourselves falling into old routines here at home it's time to say goodbye to the Honeymoon World Tour.

(as you can see, the honeymoons over!)

Well, what do you say now that hasn't been said or shown. We could ramble on about our favorite places but if you've been keeping up with the blog you know which places we loved and which places we thought sucked. You've watched as we laughed, heard about us getting sick and seen us fly, swim with sharks, jump off bridges, set kitchens on fire, ride elephants, trek through jungles, get scammed, dodge mad traffic, drink way too much and get up close and personal with all manner of beasties. Most of all, you've watched as we explored the world and lived a dream. We hope that our travels have, in some small way, inspired you to step out of your door and explore all the great things this world has to offer. In return we thank all of you for the love and support you showed us as we made this long and amazing journey.

Our last photo entry is dedicated to all the great and wonderful friends we made on our grand adventure and those who made it memorable. We are still looking for some photos so if you're not in this section it's not cause we don't love you! To all of you who made our trip the adventure that it was, thank you and God Bless!

May your feet never tire of the road and may you always find wonder in the world.

Good trip
Reading through TravelPod as my wife and I prepare for our 5th trip to SE Asia (first Asia trip together in 1978) and want to say that I enjoyed your trip very much. Too bad we don't have the physical ability to get as crazy or take those long boat trips. Still, Saigon is Saigon, however you get there. May your memories keep you well and may you have many more good ones and keep your sense of humor.
