Ah, Gay Pari....

So, Rachel and I decided to jet over to Paris in the Concord, sip a little wine on the Seine and view the Surrender Monkeys in their natural habitat. Kind of like being on safari again but much more expensive.

No, really, it was the Concord, see!

Holy Crap this place is expensive! Talk about hemoraging money! Damn Euro! Bloody Pound! We haaatess them we hates the Precioussss! Send us back to the land of the $2 hotel room and $0.75 tasty foods! Pleeaase! What jackass in his right mind would pay $3.50 Euro for a can of Coke?!? And not even a full 12oz can!

No wonder Parisians do their laundry in the Seine!

Well, in between deflating the wallet and watching the Surrender Monkeys sweat buckets because someone could build the Eiffle Tower and Notre Dam but fail to understand the concept of ceiling fans or A/C, we found the time to go on, yes you guessed it, Another bike tour. This time it was with Fat Tire Tours. They're a spinoff from Mikes out of Munich but don't tell them that. It's touchy. Must be a French thing... We also walked all over the city while Rachel left a trail of drool from fashion store to fashion store. I'm told that that comment alone will cripple my wallet for the next 5 years...sad thing is, I believe her....

Today we're off to the Louve to see all the lovely works of art stored away there. That is, if we can ever get out of this damn internet place. We've spent the morning finding an economical (hahahaha!) way to England as well as accomidation in something that resembles a dungeon for the price of The Ritz. Ah, Europe! Don't get me wrong, Paris is lovely, even if it is infested with the French. We're just going through a little sticker shock after the heavenly days of Cheap Cheap in S.E.Asia and the likes.

One thing I have learned so far here in Paris. Pay attention now, this is VERY important!

JUST BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT IT IN PARIS DOES NOT MEAN ITS FASHIONABLE!

I rest my case! Someone get that kid a bra!

By the way, have you noticed that in all my pictures of French people they all seem to be in their underwear. Weird huh? We thought the same thing. Maybe Naked Guy (you remember him from India) is originaly from France...hmmmmm

Anyway, me and the Missus are off to the Louve, then off to do some shopping, then perhaps a fancy dinner to be followed by more shopping. Saturday we fly to the land of Fish and Chips and the Pound....how we haaatess the Pound! For those of you who do not know, the Pound is the British form of money. It is evil because the exchange rate is almost 2 to 1 in the wrong direction!

Well, thats all for now from Surrender Monkey land. See you at the Queens place!
