One of Rachels main complaints about India is the staring. No matter where she goes or what we'er doing, the Indian men, and some women, simply sit there and stare at her as though they had never seen a western woman in their lives. This is really starting to get to her. So, we're walking around the city of Jaipor. It's sunday so everything is closed and there's not much to see. The ancient architecture is cool but it's hard to enjoy with the constant harrassment by the local touts and the Indian guys following and staring at Rachel.
And then we see him: Naked Guy!
No Sh@t, there we are, walking around when this Naked Guy goes strolling by.
Rachel: "Ah, did you see that?" Me: "See what?" Rachel:" Uh, that guy over there is naked. I mean Butt Nekid!" Me:" No way! Where?" Rachel:" RIGHT THERE!" Me: "Holy crap, he IS naked. Not even any shoes naked. Damn, don't see that everyday..." Rachel:" Damn it!" Me: "What now??" Rachel: "That bastard is roaming Naked in the streets and no one has even looked at him twice. Here I am, standing 10 feet away from Naked Guy and everyone is Still staring at me! Not Naked Guy, ME! It's not fair!" Me:"Well, he's really not that much to look at after all..." SMACK!
Ouch...
So, for about 20 minutes we keep Naked Guy in sight as he goes into some shop and comes out with bread and a drink in a plastic baggy. Still no one has batted an eye. finally some little kids run out and throw a shoe at him. In addition to being naked he must not be very smart as he did not take the shoes and put them on. The last we saw him, he was strolling down the center of the street, food in hand and naked as the day he was born.
